This is one of the few areas where MediaMonkey is better than MB. MM has a physical tree manager as well as a logical tree manager. So, in MM, to remove the iTunes library, I'd just go to the physical tree view, right-click on the iTunes folder, and hit 'Remove from Library'. Job done. No need to uninstall anything.
